A midwife provides medical care, monitors your health, and delivers your baby. A doula is not a medical provider. My role is to support you emotionally, physically, and with information, while your midwife or OB handles the medical care. Midwives & doulas often work together and it’s common to have both if you choose!

Yes! I provide full doula support for medically necessary inductions and cesarean births. At this time, I’m not attending elective inductions, as I’ve found I can best serve families when birth unfolds naturally or with medical need. I’m always happy to connect families with other doulas if an elective induction is part of their plan.

I do attend both hospital & home births. I love supporting families in every birth setting, though I do have a special love for home births.

I usually join you in active labor or whenever you feel you need support. We’ll stay in close touch as things progress, and I remain with you throughout your birth until about 1–2 hours after your baby arrives.

I take a limited number of births each month so I can give each family my full presence. It’s best to reach out early if you’re interested in working together.

For self-pay clients I require a $500 non-refundable deposit to reserve your due date on my calendar. The rest of the service fee will be broken into two equal payments due at 20 weeks & 30 weeks. I am always happy to find a payment schedule that works best for you—please don’t hesitate to ask!

Payment Plans

Every family deserves access to the care they need — payment shouldn't be the barrier. All of my services can be split into a plan that works for your budget and timeline.

How it works:

• A $100 non-refundable deposit reserves your spot on my calendar.

• The remaining balance can be split into whatever schedule works for you — just let me know what you need.

• The full balance must be paid before:

  • Placenta encapsulation — before your encapsulation service begins

  • Childbirth education classes & birth plan services — 2 weeks before your scheduled class date

I’m based in Minot, North Dakota and I serve families in the surrounding area, including Minot AFB. For birth support I typically stay within about 1 hour of Minot to provide the best care possible. I no longer attend births in Bismarck, but I’m happy to connect you with trusted doulas there.

I do travel to Bismarck & other locations for placenta pickup/drop-off.
